Hello,
Your post at http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/preList/666/666.page#666 has been identified by a moderator as being 'spam'. This means your post is either overly repetitive, devoid of substantial content or is simply banal (or a combination of all three). We ask that you to take a moment and re-read Dakka's forum rules for what is appropriate and inappropriate behavior on the site.
Here at Dakka, we do not allow spam posts as they are disruptive to threaded conversations by breaking up the 'flow' of the conversation with mindless gibberish. We want to keep our site a premier place on the internet to come and read quality content, and spam helps to degrade that content. Consider for a moment if every user on Dakka posted spam on a regular basis. This would quickly lead to a site filled with spam that nobody would want to read or visit, and that's something that would be bad for everyone who enjoys posting on or reading Dakka.
Be aware that posting content on this site (or any internet site, for that matter) is a privilege, not a right. One of the requirements of posting on this site is to not spam other users with repetitive or pointless posts.
Please consider this message a polite warning. No action is being taken at this time, but if you continue to create posts that we consider to be spam your account will be suspended for a few days as a harsher warning to please cease this type of behavior. Obviously if these warnings fail to curtail the behavior, harsher penalties may have to be levied in the future.
If you are ever unsure of whether a post will be considered spam or not, before you post it, take a moment and re-read it pretending to be someone else other than yourself. From this point of view, if your post doesn't actually add something substantial to the current topic at hand, then it is almost certainly spam and you should definitely consider revising or deleting the message instead of posting it.
If you have any questions about this warning, please feel free to PM me (or any other moderator).
Thanks,
The Dakka moderation team
