Gwar!
So Gwar! has been banned yet again from the land of Dakka Dakka and vowed he will never return. I hope he keeps his word and it is a really great feeling to know he is not posting there.
I have only posted a few times on Dakka Dakka, and as such I have mixed feelings about Gwar! While he usually answers rules questions.... ...the manner and attitude that you get as part of your answer are over the top. For a site about a game, his attitude is a bit more than necessary...it is a game right?
Gwar used to spam YMDC with "Yes I'm right!" and brought down the level of responses to rules questions. The moderators went out of their way in my opinion to accomodate but he just got worse over time. While he said he won't post on Dakka anymore I'll just have to wait and see if he keeps his word... Only time will tell. I found Gwar to be very misleading to people new to the game and insistence only always using RAW was more than annoying. He cleaned up his act towards the end of this cycle but I'm of the opinion he was only very thin ice the past month or so. Gwar would go out of his way to make big issues out of rules that anyone with a lick of sense would know the answer to such as the wording Scout for Wolf Scouts versus Scouts. I know he liked to be the center of attention but he could have been a lot more constructive how he went about it. I have no tolerance for deception in general when it comes to 40k.
